I bought one of these machines from www.aria.co.uk

It's a good quality DVD recorder, however I have found that you can't do ANY editing whatsoever of your footage. I have a huge collection of music clips from TV, festivals etc that I wanted to edit together into one DVD and because the DVD recorder doesn't do that, I tried using Nerovision...but that only deals/converts from DIVX etc to DVD...it can't take DVD footage and edit it, so I was wondering what software I can get hold of that will take my DVD footage and allow me to edit it and reburn to DVD?

nero vision express has a movie maker program similar to windows movie maker. use that or, assuming that you use windows, use windows movie maker to edit the footage and save the end file as a large single file. make sure that you save it to a format that your dvd player can read and you will be able to watch your edited dvd. you can even add your name as the director if it gives you a warm tingly feeling inside
