My grand-daughter has just had glasses and cannot keep them on her nose. There is a strap which would go round the back of her head which would do the job but as to where I would get one of these or the correct name for them. Any help would be appreciated

try the opticians,
Try a sports band, lots of them about
If they were correctly fitted she wouldn't have the problem would she? maybe go back to the optician and explain the problem.
i agree with ratter, they're not fitted properly and i think she might be self concious about a band as well
if she has a very dainty little nose she may need the side pads changing also the bit that goes round the ears can be extended to curve further round I had the same problem when I was younger. Superlight plastic lenses help too they don't come free unlike the standard kiddy ones but make a huge difference
as said your optician should have made these fit correctly to start with.
one tip though is she uses a face moisturiser keep it off the top of the nose where the glasses pads rest on. it makes the glasses slide off because of the oil in the moisturiser
Sounds to me like they don't fit properly, back to Optician to sort them out.
they are not fitted properly, I think a band would be problematic as a girl she is bound to want her hair to look nice and a band would get in the way
She'll end up with hair like Triggs...!!

Go back to the opticians. My 3 kids wear glasses and I was forever in there getting them adjusted. It'll take a few minutes....
Yeh they are right, they are not fitting properly, the opticians will be able to do that so that they are correct and no problems with them.
