Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I was expecting a Kea by the end of the year, but I was surprised to see a Kea numerical

This was an easy numerical (under 1 hour solve) and I am glad it was, partly because of the stinker E grade numerical in the Magpie this month.

If anyone wants a challenge then look at that.

Regarding Kea's numerical, one has to admire the clever construction, but I am left with wanting more.

Agree with all the above. I loath the numerical ones and only tackle them to stay in the annual ratings. So thanks for such a simple one. Lets have more of them like this! 30 minutes start to finish. Like most (all?) arithmetic ones, this one was devoid of pdm's.
Back when they moved the numerics back/forward a week I suggested it was because someone wanted a particular number for their crossword - is this it?
