Letting yourself go...

Ok. So, everyone knows that my little sis aint very well, and they also know that I'm loving "The Steps" right now.
Was just wondering.. would you let yourself go, for such a cause?

I've never been a huge Steps fan, but since little'un's 'situation', I've found myself buying their greatest hits CD and selling my worldly possessions for their arena tickets!

Yes. Daughter in law poorly at the moment - would do anything to put a smile on her face. Hope you get the tickets and enjoy the show.

When my daughter was about 9 or 10 she wanted to go to a Steps concert -I bribed my nephew to go with her as neither my husband or I would go along with her. We said to him if he got any stick from his friends about going to a Steps concert to just tell them you were doing a favour for your auntie.

I would never admit this on a site where other people could read what I have said....but I kind of liked steps. They were everything I hate about pop music cheesy etc and me being an old fat punk but as I said I kind of liked them.
I remember reading something that went "on your death bed you will not remember the things you did not do".

If it's of any help, we actually sat outside the concert hall and heard it - sounded ok. Light bright pop just the thing sometimes, think of it as "candy" for the ears! Go on, you never know you might have a ball
