How is the changes effecting you? what I mean is the cost in Food prices, Gas,Elect, Fuel prices, will this dictate how much you will spend on Xmas pressies, Party's etc.

Nope. Things are just the same at the moment.
as ummmm, Im lucky enough that at the moment things are ticking along as usual.
spend spend spend... :o)
Same as I spend every year I guess, I don't really go massively overboard.
We're mostly ticking along as usual but I have for the first time in my life started budgeting a bit when I do the weekly shop and I also think about journeys in the car with the price of diesel the way it is.
No financial effect as yet, but we do tend to shop more carefully - less impulse buys.
I've only my daughter to buy for-but I still can't spend what I did in previous years. I'd say I've gradually been cutting back over the past 18 months or so....I dread utility charges over the winter.
Only cutting back in the sense I won't be getting into debt for the sake of one or two days over Christmas
I have definitely noticed food prices increasing and the cost of certain things, however, my spending habits haven't changed - yet

I save all year for Christmas and generally toys have not increased in price, in fact, using big stores with their offers it has worked out considerably cheaper this year as I had more cash left over than last year after buying all presents

Only thing left to buy is a joint and veggies
No problem for me, so far !
