Can't Use the Royal Mail Postage Website

I have used this site successfully for ages and ages. The have "updated and improved" it in the last few days, now I can't get it to work. It takes about 4 minutes even to load the opening page, and then I can't get it to work at all. was going to e-mail Customer Services but I can't get those pages open either! What do you think may be wrong? Thank you.

PS I have no idea about "techie" stuff so simple language please!

Price finder seems to be borked. Completing Step 2 and clicking 'Next' takes me back to Step 1.

Exactly so. I managed to get past that stage to the stage mentioned above. It's dreadful.

I tried to use it earlier to arrange redelivery of a parcel but gave up and phoned in the end. Was told the site was just very busy!

They have an apology on their phone-line saying that the website is down.

Thanks all. Couldn't use the complaint form either! They're obviously having problems. I don't know why companies etc alter their websites without proper testing. I know it's possible to do that as previously when the University here adopted a new computer system we had a "dummy" system in place to practice on for about 6 months as I remember. So any problems met, were dealt with before"going live". I may, of course be over-simplifying things!

Hmmm. Just got through all three steps on the price finder, only to be informed that Airmail Small Packet Service to Eire doesn't exist!

Not good for a national carrier, especially at this time of year...

In my experience the Royal mail website has never worked with 100% functionality since its inception. For an organisation of its size and importance, this is an apalling service. If small independent traders can have a comprehensive and fully operational website, then why the heck can't Royal Mail? Grrr!
