Skinny Latte

My partner loves these and I was wondering if I bought an espresso machine for Xmas, what do you do to turn it into a latte? It is just a question of adding hot foamed low-fat milk or is there also a secret ingredient? I am a tea drinker so it's all a foreign language to me!

I've got a tassimo and you can buy a latte pack that has a coffee disc and a milk disc that you use one after the other... yum yum yum!
