Out of pocket.
at the bus stop?
commedians, just what you need at a time like this
How do you believe they got entry if your vehicle was locked?
Where was it parked, was there any CCTV
I fail to see what is comic about my answer oldbillbuck. Insurance companies refuse to recognise car theft if there is no sign of forced entry, so StephenG is out of pocket and by advising him so I was making a useful contribution to this question (which is more than can be said for your comment).

Where was the car parked when your clubs were stolen? If you are a member of a golf club and pay the nominal insurance premium, mine is £3.50 per annum, you should be able to make a claim against that insurance instead of your motor insurance.
On my car I press the unlock button once to unlock just the drivers door, and again to unlock the whole car. The last couple of days, when pressing the unlock button twice to get something off the back seat it opened the tailgate. I only noticed by accident the first time taking the dog out at night, walking past the car seeing out the corner of my eye the light on the dash to say the boot was open.

It has since stopped doing this. I have no idea why. Cars can be very fickle.
