I've been trying to find my position on the Telegraph crossword page but the board doesn't move when I click on next.Is it me being thick,my PC or something else,Many thanks.

It has been like that for some months, since the fire that limited the site to basic functions. There have been problems again in the last couple of days and I cannot get on the site at all at the moment.

You are not thick and there is nothing likely to be wrong with your PC.
