When someone does keepy uppy, they sometimes catch the ball on the back of their neck and keep it there.

If a footballer were to do this during a game, and run into the goal with the ball still there, would it be a goal?

It is probably not against any specific law but I imagine it would be called 'unsportsmanlike conduct'.

I remember a Braizilian player doing a series of keepy-uppies a few years back in a club game and his opponents resolved the problem by launching a full-scale assault on him. It may even have been Robinho and I'm sure it's n You Tube somewhere. Saves the ref having to make a call I suppose.

If someone has ever done it, then there is probably a rule against it now.

Remember Coventry's free kick in the 70's where someone stood over the ball and jumped to make it fly so someone else could volley it? The goal stood but the rules were swiftly changed.
