going on the howling gale outside, and the sky a shade of gun metal, think it might be a day to put feet up and read the papers. What are your plans for this not so cheery sunday.
Morning Em. I'm waiting for a washing machine to be delivered which could be any time between 8am and 6pm so might be in all day without a choice.
Friends are doing a Winter Urbanathlon in a local park today and I'm going to support, washing machine depending. Not looking promising with the weather though, looks horrible outside so wondering if they will even run it.
I'm going back to bed once my oh has left for work. I'll probably be up again by lunchtime but if yesterday is anything to go by i'll be back in bed by 3pm, it's the only place I can be comfortable these days.
does look ominous, but as we all know, the weather can turn out nice, even when it looks as bad as this. Well whatever you do, don't over do it, it's sunday after all, and having something delivered on a sunday, that's a first?
It can't decide what it wants to do here. Nice and sunny one minute and then then the big heavy clouds come over the next. I expect when I take my walk up the garage for the papers it will make it's mind up.
It's very windy but clear sky and sunny in Dorset. It's OH's birthday today so I have to make 2 cakes this morning and entertain his parents later so no lazy Sunday for me ;-(
The crows are loving the high winds here near York, flying into it and then letting it blow them backwards. Might have the first real fire of the autumn today.
I was planning a day in the garden - tidying it up ready for winter. Unfortunately it rained all night and it's now too wet. So I might play the piano a bit and do some work.
Had to drive from Scotland back down to Hampshire today. Left at 5am. Was trying to hold on to the car all the way from Dunfermline to Manchester. It wasnt too bad after that.
