Unions had a use 100 years ago when Employers were out of hand, From the 20's onwards they have been a negative force. Any movement that would go on strike when we are staring down the barrel of Nazi tyranny is surely not on our side. Up to the 70s the unions systematically destroyed this country and nearly brought us to the stage of becomming a Soviet puppet nation. Is it any wonder the people that pay for the country have little time for unions and their flawed ideology. Sgt. rock will be along in minute to find the spelling and grammer errors in the above.

You may well be happy and competent with your employment, but if your employer could figure out a way of making more profit out of you by changing your terms of employment to your detriment, then they would.
I am not a Trade unionist and I do agree that sometimes Trade unions overstep the mark at times, but it's not all bad.
