Scientists have discovered that coffee in some high street outlets contains as much as three times the caffeine as others. Detailed research revealed this was due to some places using three times as much coffee per single cup. Wow, isn't this exciting......thank goodness for scientists.

With such a massive variation between outlets you can not possibly know for sure. It always tastes strong doesn't it ?
What I was less able to understand though was why the expresso was sometimes containing less caffeine than a cup of instant. Surely one buys expresso because it gives you a fix of caffeine ? (That said I understand the other coffees seem to be expresso with other things added to dilute it, water, milk, whatever, so maybe any concern should be with the other coffee types ?)
