If you're going with someone else,
Lay everything out in outfits, and take a few "base" items and just different tops that go with most of the skirts/trousers. Only allow one or two items that don't go with almost everything else.
Check that the hotel provides a hairdryer etc, and don't take your own.
Go to www.bbc.co.uk/weather and see what it's going to be like. Therefore you won't end up packing for "all waethers just in case" because if it DOES suddenly change, you can always buy clothes out there!
Ok - and if taking brinjal's suggestions - some stergene too!
scubadiver - another way round it is to buy the "minis" that are now sold also in cheaper shops like Superdrug or Savers.
Mind you, I agree that one should make use ofthe plastic bag option, and if pushed to, enquire as to whether or not people buying two large bottles of spirits and a few bottles of perfume will be charged for that excess weight!? :-p
