when to stop buying pressies for nephews/neices
26 Answers
answering another question made me wonder this. we have six nephews between us. This year one will have reached 18, so i was thinking of stopping sending him something now (see him less than once a year) one of the others is 17 but has left education, so (in theory) is in the world of work so perhaps we should stop him too? he isn't actually in the world of work because he can't be bothered, which makes me want to stop even more!

I retired 3 years ago and at that point stopped birthday presents to the older set. Still sending birthday presents to younger 2 but with a max cash limit of £30. We are talking about a present amnesty this Xmas - my brother hasn't given me anything for years in spite of the fact I've been sending him a decent bottle for his birthday - I think I'm an idiot!
