Santa Dash - 4 generations of Fast Eddie's legacy!
3 Answers
afternoon all, I know a few of you who supported me in the Marathon will be happy to know that my Grandad, Fast Eddie, joined me today for the 5k Santa Dash in Liverpool.
It really was a laugh, we all stuck together, my 88 year old Grandad, my auntie, myself, my brother, cousin, my 12 year old niece and my 8 year old nephew and my cousins 8 year old son all stuck together all the way round, singing jingle bells and just having a laugh all the way round!
Although my Grandad struggled a bit, he was diagnosed with a secondary tumour on his spine a couple of weeks ago (which he's only just told us about), he loved running with his great grandchildren and even got a bit carried away doing 'oggie oggie oggie' on the train home!
Really was a great way to spend a soggy Sunday morning!!
