Just heard him on the news saying he wants to show the public that we are "All in this together" Does this mean he is now shopping in Lidl and Poundland. I think not. Had I voted Libdem which I didn't I would be angry at the way he has treated his voters. Rant over.

He's gone through school. Studied for A levels. Gone through Uni. Climbed up the ladder, which you can only do through hard work and ambition...and we expect him to live a lifestyle like he's on the bread line?

I don't shop at Lidl, Aldi, Netto or Poundland....why should Nick Clegg, the deputy priminister?

I agree with you, nick clegg sold out and is now camerons puppet. The libdems will have the same amount of votes as the raving looney party at the next election, almost none. as a party, they are finished. watch their mp's change sides just before the next election.

Fine words ....lots of hot air and news minutes ....then some weak policy will be hatched and nowt will happen.
The directors went to and send there kids to the same public schools the major shareholders send there children to (pension funds).
They all pat each other on the back.

When is this government going to do something about the situation and stop saying" the deficit we inherited from the previous government" after every weak answer to the question of finacial stability. Is it only me that thinks that unless people are able to spend money, the whole country will go deeper down the hole? if no one spends, no one needs staff to serve them, the staff go on the dole, the government re-trains them to do a job where there are no vacancies, more on the dole, less people paying tax, and down we go. what happens when the pot is empty? not enough people working and paying tax to pay all the state pensions and unemployed to keep the population alive?
someone needs to think this through. sooner rather than later I think.

Left my post, I'm back now. Do you really think we are all in this together? I don't. The rich are not getting poor. As most of us with savings are not getting richer.

It's all relative though, isn't it? Richer people's way of feeling the pinch is not being able to take two holidays a year, or only have a case of wine once a month instead of twice..

agree box, even though we would not consider it a hardship someone in that position would, just like a family who are able to afford to buy brand name food would be considered "well off" compared to a family that buy plain branded cheap food, either way however much money you earn, when you have to pay more for stuff it is seen as a hardship on a personal level.
