Withdrawing cash on a credit card
9 Answers
Due to a mess up, my credit card account is significantly in credit.
If I use it to withdraw cash from a bank ATM, will I be charged?

Good of them! I had a good surprise too today: I have moved home and took a new home insurance policy with Directline. When I cancelled the old policy, they 'cancelled' the cancellation fee altogether (if that makes sense). It's 'only' £25.50, but this housemove is not coming cheap, so I'm quite chuffed :)
Was it your mistake or theirs, Hopkirk. If their's, you should not incur charges. I am assuming that the CC is the same as your bank. Keep plugging away at them! And the left hand does not necessarily talk to the right one within a bank and their card operations.
They, my bank, screwed up on one transfer that I requested and, out of the blue and having listened to the tape, reimbursed me and a £50 bonus - which I wasn't seeking, by the way. However, all donations gratefully received.
