Have you donated to any Christmas charities this year?

I did the text Santa one,and sent a parcel to the Salvation Army for their Christmas present appeal. I cant stand the thought of children especially not getting anything Christmas morning.

I give something every month but added some food to the collection trolley outside Sainsburys Wednesday as well.

Nothing special for Christmas - unless you count the street collections, in which case yes, Sally Army and the like - but I give to charities of my choice during the year, so I'm OK about that.

the salvation army tv advert asks for people to give £19. It always strikes me as very ambitious AND an odd amount!

I donate to several charities throughout the year, and don't make any specific donations just because of the time of year.

i have donated to a paliative care home as a friends friend was doing a no shave to raise money as his young wife was dying of cancer, they were trying to get to the total before she died-which they did. She passed away this morning.

I buy warm coats & jumpers from charity shops & donate them to our local homeless charity.
Don't like donating money...you don't know where it ends up!

At Christmas time I always donate to my local RSPCA and Cheshire Dogs Home, especially this year as cash donations and food donations are down due to no-one having any money. I also bought some much needed food.

I set and sell quizzes to give to the Cornhill Macmillan Centre Perth, so far have raised over £1,ooo and all the prize money has also been donated so do not have to break into funds.
