Just tried heinz new sachet soup minestrone where you just add water to it,it was bloody awful one sip and i tipped it straight down the sink anyone else tried it?

Minestrone in a sachet is so wrong. Tried it once and it went down the sink as well. Don't mind the chicken or chicken and leek tho.
you just cant get a decent instant soup.
Not a great fan of this sort of soup but I have found that the soups that don't have "bits" in like minestrone and veg tend to be better.
This isn't the first time Heinz has produced something similar. Years ago they made concentrated soup in plastic tubs that looked like a slightly larger version of those individual jam portions you get. They weren't popular. Part of the problem might have been that the plastic film top tended to tear when you tried to remove it, instead of coming off cleanly. The present sachets can be messy, too. Rather than pay 69p each (local Tesco price), I think I'll continue getting '2 for £1.00 Bachelors and Campbells Cup-a-Soups from the nearby Pound Shop.
The tomato one is nice. You have to add the water really slowly and stir well all the time. But is tastes much the same as the can....
