Renault Laguna

Please help, I have just brought an M reg Renualt laguna 1.8 RN petrol .

It came with 2 keys, none of them "OPEN" the doors via the locks like a tradtional key. 1 of them however opens the locks like a key fob press button, they both start the car from the igniton, the guy I brought the car off said the battery needed changing in the "spare" key, which I did, however it still dosnt operate the locks to open the doors, the red light now comes on on the key fob.

Is there a sequence I need to do to reporgram the fob back to the car ?

you tend to find that cars with remote locking have never had the key put in the door i would try freeing the lock off with some wd40 or duck oil it may just be siezed up through lack of use
