Addiction

My elder daughter has just accused me of becoming addicted to this site and although I've only just lost my green tag, I think she could be right. I certainly find it interesting and most people are really pleasant. However, I've been off work these past two weeks and it may just be a passing fancy, but it does indicate how easily you can become addicted? Anyone else been accused???

I only found this site about 2 weeks ago and love it...though not quite addicted I have a quick peek most days...mainly to learn things I don't know about!! What is the green tag? Does it signify you are a new user and if so how long for?Sorry to be a bimbo!!

I am considering having therapy to wean me off it !!
I only came across it looking for a crossword answer.Mind you I am retired and very arthritic so it passes the time of day and I enjoy the Quizzes and Puzzles section immensely.There are some nice knowledgeable people on here.

I was looking for an answer to an insect question, now I can't go to bed unless i've had a fix, the thing is, not only do the people appear friendly, and for the most part civil, you can also learn a lot from other peoples answers.

Yes I know what you mean. I have learnt quite a lot of useful information and some not so. If I want to know something, this is the first place I head for. And like you have to have my daily fix. Now excuse me while I scroll through and see if I can help anyone out !!!!

i'm def addicted to this site, only belonged for a short time but really like it. I spend a lot of time on my computer working, especially in the evenings and i find looking at this site gives me a bit of 'light relief'. also i love the 'body and soul' bit because you can ask really thought provoking questions, rather than merely factual ones. i have lots of friends, but find that many of them aren't that interested in each others problems. the great thing about this site is that people appear to genuinely care about your problems. That might sound sad but people have given me some brilliant advice...and in many respects better advice than my friends (who are often bias or involved in the situation) ever have.

I cant even remember how I found the site but I keep looking at it when Im supposed to be working. It is addictive and I have posted a couple of questions and got good answers. I only look at parenting and body and soul at the mo.

I'm afraid I am totally addicted to answerbank ,first thing every morning with my first cup of tea I'm here. I am retired so I can spend as much time as I like browsing through it all (I really must get a life ! LOL). Agree about people being really pleasant and helpful ,have had my crossword questions answered very quickly .Good luck with your addiction Drusilla.
