My son's girlfriend is getting a handmade necklace, but I bought the chain on the High Street. Husbands pressie is coming from a large outlet store, not local. can't say what as he uses site. Daughter doesn't know what she wants so is getting money. CD and DVD I had to buy were on line, tried to buy a dvd for my mum for her birthday and realised the only place to buy one in our town was in HMV which was much more expensive so bought it in supermarket. When did WH Smiths stop selling dvds and cds? Mum's was bought in an large electrical store but reserved on line. so a bit of both really. I do prefer to see what I am getting if possible, but can't always do that.
