Chorlton and the Wheelies

Where's Chorlton acctually from accent wise? I don't know who voices him which doesn't help. He sounds a bit from up north but can't add to that :s :(

It was until they mucked about with the boundaries, they shifted Chorlton into Greater Manchester.

Ah I see yes , well the opinion is that Joe Lynch imbued Chorlton with a Yorkshire sounding accent, though Joe was Irish born, but Chorlton as a character was 'born' in Chorlton cum Hardy. I could watch them all again gladly.
