i have to go for a scan on the 19th dec'.i was sent a bottle of gastrografin which i take the day before and the next morning,it is just to give clearer pictures of the bowel,the day before scan i have to avoid fizzy drinks and gas producing foods such as green veg.fresh fruit,salads,beans and dried foods.so what will be my menu on the day before,theres not much left?????

Hello slinky. I have had 5 or 6 scans in the past 3 years, but they were always after 11 am. I was also given the gastrografin to drink but only when I was in the waiting room at the CT centre. I take it you have to have your scan quite early in the morning. It is really worth it to kind of starve in the long run. I found out that myself. Now I have been given the all clear at long last.
