30 th anniversary is pearl so, how about irridescent china or glass, plants or flowers with pearl as part of the name, QVC sell wish pearl silver jewellery where you get to open the oyster yourself but I'm not sure of they do anything suitable for a man (www.qvcuk.com). hope that's got you started

I got my mum and dad a huge hand painted reproduction of the Kiss by Klimt on canvas - �40 off ebay - and a professionally enlarged and framed photograph of them on the wedding day. Went down a treat! Those cakes are good with the scanned photos on if you want something cheaper - get their wedding photograph scanned on.
