I had a Phillips one, I think I only used it a handful of times, it had a bowl which had to be frozen before use, it took up too much room in the freezer, so most of the time wasn't in there and frozen when I thought about making ice cream and when it was, it didn't really make ice cream like I was expecting, it was very soft and slushy. In the end it got put in a cupboard and when I came to use it recently, I found that the bowl had been punctured by something, so had to throw the whole thing away as the machine has now been updated and the replacement bowls would not be right for my old machine. If I were to get one again. it would be a mega expensive one that has a internal freezing system, but then it would take up loads of room on the worktop and as I am on a diet, I shouldn't be eating too much ice cream anyway.
Depends on how busy/held up they might be. You should be taken in, quite soon as you have aready taken your drink.Shouln't be longer than half an hour waiting. .The scan can take between 20 to 50 mins. It all dpends on the pictures they get. Normally they get it right first time. They always put a feed into the arm and when you are in the machine, they inject a fluid through it. It is not sore but maybe a small bit uncomfortable but it is REALLY worth it in the end. Don't worry about it.You will sail through it! What hospital have you to go to?
