Kim Jong-il, affectionately known by his grateful people as 'The Great Leader', is no more.
Aren't the people of N Korea fortunate that his son is there to replace him?

Those shops seem surprisingly well stocked. Gives the lie to the stories of famine in North Korea we were reading recently.
The guy with his back to the brown doors seems to be listening to his iPod.

I thought western music was forbidden.
sandyRoe the shops are stocked for the film camera and then the stuff is removed.
Kim Jong had already been replaced for most functions by 'The Dear Leader' his son , even the North Koreans realised he was not immortal and were ready for the inevitable.
Mugube is going to be more difficult to replace , no son in waiting, that is why I do not expect they will admit to his death. I expect Zimbabwe will carry on by saying he is too ill to appear in public, I suspect he may even already be dead.
