I've lived through 9/11, a major head-line accident and a number of serious hurricanes and seen devastation of assets and personal pain. Nothing though could prepare anyone to what has happened in Sendai and environs.
My thoughts go out to you in your time of need and I hope that you will shout from the roof tops to what assistance we, especially in the UK,...

Throughout our lives we go through traumas, upsets mainly caused by families but at the end, we still see them, what we have seen in the last week makes me wonder is there a God, some of their families will never be seen again in this life, all you people in Japan there may be thousands of miles between us but our thoughts are with you. The UK.
A Poem of hope…
For all those who are suffering
And for all those who are lost
I hope you feel peace
Remember, hope comes at no cost
For all those who are worrying
and all those who are tired
I send you my hope
Until your own is re-fired
I know your heart aches
And your mind is so weary
But remember one thing
Let your hope flow freely
(anon)
My thoughts are with you all and never give up Hope xxxx

We all reach times in our lives when no human help is available or when the help humans offer is not sufficient for our needs. Then it is to God alone that we must turn. However, if we love God and appreciate the privilege of prayer we certainly will not wait for such occasions to speak to him. Instead, we will approach him regularly, frequently, with expressions of thanksgiving and praise, as well as with our petitions and requests. (Ephesians 6:18)
