Beechams hot lemon drinks taste ..

UGH - ages since I had a Beechams hot lemon drink - OH bought some today and we found the taste has completely changed - its really bitter and absolutely vile, I shuddered at every sip ......it used to be quite pleasant, sweet tasting and comforting but this is now just awful - I even added two spoonfuls of honey to it but it was still the worst medicine I've ever taken. Think I will keep to Lemsip in future ......

I wouldn't take either .You are better off taking plain hot lemon and honey with a drop a whisky in it and drinking plenty of fluids :)

Tried two spoonfuls of honey Anne - thats sweeter than sugar, but made no difference to the awful bitter taste.

They've always tasted vile to me. I just use the tablet form and make my own hot honey and lemon drink

Stick with hot cuppas and boots own paracetamol.

Taste notwithstanding (get me!) this is a very expensive way to medicate when you have cold symptoms.
