Has anyone completed this? Downloaded it this afternoon, and have struggled to fill 40% of the grid (lots of scribblings in margins!). Now am at a complete standstill. Have checked AB for others who are stuck, and can find nothing. Does this mean that no-one is bothering with it (it is particularly hard!), or that I am the only moron to attempt it?

I have started it and have solved about 50%.
All R/L and Normal clues are easy. Have managed to do DLM clues.

Have solved a couple of PL clues. Am finding M clues difficult, but do have M10.

Got sidetracked in doing research on Google to see if it possible to decode Playfair square without the key word. Nothing helpful.

PL clues are normal clues but am finding PL1 and PL6 difficult. Any hint?

I now have about 80%, but still struggling, mostly in bottom left corner, and don't yet have PL1 or 9, or M6. PL6 I have as 'spetch', though of course it is not yet useful!

PL1 is dul(l) in kit; PL9 is ink (rev) + fed. I am stuck on PL32 - any help welcome. I've solved all the other clues (I think!) but as for the Playfair code bit...... as yet no idea.

There is a message on The Crossword Centre implying something is wrong with the playfair - does anyone know what they mean? For some reason they don't want to discuss it on their board.

As discussed on the aforementioned forum, one of the clue types is wrongly flagged. As also hinted though, any other errors don't make the puzzle unsolveable.
I haven't actually started it yet, so I am only going by what they say.

I completed the grid earlier this afternoon, and have since been following the extended forum on Crossword Solver...and am still a long way from cracking the cryptogram. Will go back to it tomorrow - had better get on with some real work!
