Hello everyone,

If you wish to add ticks or crosses to a downloaded application form - in this instance via Word - how do you do it?

Just to be clear, I am referring to forms which have a box to place a tick or x inside.

On a similar note, how do you add a digital signature?

Thanks for your reading.

Seasons greetings to all.

IF you're in Word, go to Insert, then drop down to Symbols and select the tick from there. If that doesn't work copy and paste one such as this.

For your signature you'll need to sign a piece of paper, scan it in and copy and paste it into the application form.
Often if you click on the box it gives you two options to select.
Ticks can look odd so you could use an X instead

LOL
I didn't thnk the poster needed to get embrouled in encrypted digital signatures rojash. I'm guessing this is a one-off application form and since we're just learning to tick a box, SilentJOB needs an acheivable solution.
^^ embroiled
When I submit electronic application forms I just type my name and use script like font. The receipients have always accepted it on a form submitted electronically., Some forms only allow me to type in the field and don't allow me to paste images in
Open the 'Character Map' file via Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Character Map and search for the Wingding font. Almost at the bottom you have a choice of a tick or a tick inside a box that you can copy and paste as required.
