My sisters Dell laptop has developed a problem with the key board as follows, when I press the letter P I get QWER, this happens with some other keys on the right hand side, I replaced the keyboard but its still the same, when I connect my keyboard from my PC via a USB cable it works perfectly, any clues.

I changed the laptop keyboard for a new laptop keyboard but no change, sister says she's not sure if anything was spilled on it.

It sounds like something sticky has been spilled on the keyboard.
