Will prog`s from the BBC be alright when viewed with proper Panasonic 3D spec`s? or do I have to prog the viewing 2D-3D. It`s all very confusing to me as there are different way's to set the TV, some have one picture on top or two pictures alongside each other or normal.

as far as i know the only channel that shows 3d content is sky 3d. If you want to change a standard 2d programme to 3d then you need to change the settings on your TV to upscale it to 3d
Sorry to disappoint you - there is no such thing as 3-D TV - its just an illusion, and a poor one at that!
oh no, really? how can i possibly cope now youve given us such an insight.
I dont know redcrx - but that will probably not stop you from buying one - hmm?
As the technology for 3D TV is still changing and improving, anybody who has already "taken the plunge" has probably wasted (a lot of) money.
And, poor programmes remain poor programmes - no matter the number of dimensions they're in.
is that how you found out what an illusion it was?

I have no complaints about the quality of the 3D pictures shown with Sky, my grandchildren love the 3D cartoons, at least it keeps them happy, it`s the BBC I`m concerned with.
as i said carlton, the bbc isnt trasmitting 3d so its a case of seeing how your TV will try and upscale from 2d to its own version of 3d. It doesnt usually work very well though
BBC HD DID transmit the Dancing final in 3D so far (for free)
There will be more.
Best places to find are the test channels.
