LOL douglas!
I thought it sounded as if they were playing it down earlier this evening, so it is serious! An invasive procedure at his age must be quite a risk? We wish him well and to be home for Christmas.

I'm sure he'll be better looked after than his minions.
> We wish him well and to be home for Christmas.

Yes, but no more or less surely than we wish any other nonogenarian having heart surgery at the moment and who hasn't had a charmed life due to nothing more than an accident of birth...
According to the latest news, the doctors are saying he'll be fit enough for the Boxing Day shoot, as long as he doesn't hold a gun.......
I don't feel safe with one now, never mind at ninety years old......
> as long as he doesn't hold a gun

Every cloud...
Having read the posts of some, I can't believe that at this time they still cannot help but post their insulting jibs, and sick humour targeted at a very sick 90 year old.

Just goes to prove that we have some very sick (in the mind) and disrespectful individuals on this site.

I wish Prince Phillp a speedy recovery, and may he soon be able to join our Queen and the rest of their family for a well deserved holiday.

Get well soon your Royal Highness.
Deary me, I prefer to keep my tongue in my cheek.
brilliant news for cambridge residents! 2 hour waiting list for a stent!

hope all goes well anyway! xx
Oh what a cheek taking the p out of Phil The Greek.
Get well soon Ryl Prince.

Ron.
not a fan of his cant forget his dislike of Dianna but i wish him well
Having a stent placed is very routine. They thread a line from your wrist or leg, to the heart and expand the stent to keep the artery open. This is done while the patient is awake and he could watch on a monitor. He will probably be out tomorrow, if not sooner.

Phil the Greek seems to be a good humoured old cove, but very old fashioned in some of his views. Hope he gets well soon.
> cant forget his dislike of Dianna [sic]

MR sorry about spelling headmaster
Nice to know the NHS does not discriminate and treats the rich as it treats the poor. This service is available to all.
Would they really have told him to mess himself in the bed as nobody was available to go and get him a bedpan?
If they treat everyone equally they would have done.
