Not sure, but woiuld it possibly be the 7th episode of an 8 episode series, I notice that TV mags here now have something like 6/8 for example to show which episode it is?

7 o'clock Eastern Time / 8 o'clock Central Time

...although looking at what I have just written that example would be backwards! Perhaps it should read 8/7c.

Basically it is to account for the different time-zones.
It's to do with the different time zones within ll the States as Amerian Idol is the same as I watch it on ITV2 and on the Fox wesite it says the sme thing beside it and loads more programmes. I'm lucky though because it airs over 2 days in the states unlike Pop Idol. They do the show on the tuesday, and the result show is on the Wednesday but it doesn't air on ITV2 until the Fiday night so I always go on the website in advance to see who gt through - sneaky huh LOL
