do royal mail deliver on bank holidays? still waiting for a parcel to be delivered and wondered if i would have to stay in tomorrow. Thanks

Don't think so.

No, they don't deliver or collect on any public holidays - Royal Mail starts again on Wednesday. Other mail providers or courier firms may be working tomorrow.

Royal mail definitely won't deliver on a bank holiday. Years ago they used to deliver on Good Friday only, but this cost a lot in wages and as part of cost cutting this was stopped.
