More often than not, if there are that many replies already then someone else has already posted what I would suggest. Unless I'm really drunk and about to suggest that the best way to fix the squeak on your Cavalier is to microwave your head.

If it is a quiz or puzzle and I see in latest posts that certain posters, cleverer than I, are already on the case then I dont bother. If it is a topic and I feel I can contribute something then it wouldnt matter how many had already added.

Sometimes yes. A lot of the time I don't read the the answers and then repeat what someone else has said 2 pages ago etc. That is my failing though.
