can anyone tell me the name of the music being played for the current sainsburys advert?My 6 year old grandson is obsessed with it and its already driving me barmy.

Yes, it is the late George Formby singing Happy Go Lucky Me. It got to 43 in the charts in July 1960 and amazingly, my late parents even had the original 7 inch single in their record collection! I think the label was Pye and Banjo Boy was on the B-side. Sadly, it didn't do much for Formby as he passed away the following year, but I suppose that Sainsbury's has paid tribute to him in time, marking 50 years since his passing.
