UK Pop Quiz Championships

There are so many 'experts' on the subject of Music on here, am curious as to why I've never come across any of you at the UK Music Quiz championships. Surely if you have such a knowledge on a subject then you would want to test yourself against the best music brains in the UK. Commencing in March, this team event brings together players from as far north as Edinburgh and far south as London in a knockout tournament featuring Pop Music from all decades. There are many prizes up for grabs but the fact that you've played against a Neil Barker, Dave Bastable, Jon Kutner or Steve Burdin is worth the entry alone. There must be some 'Answerbankers' who can hold their own, surely?

I do know number one, but I'd question the 3 different lead singers part as all members sung on all the songs.

Of course you are good enough, regular practice is what you need that's all, a weekly event with loads of Pop Trivia. A small clue eh? Manchester based band, own studio, wrote their own stuff....

The competition has been held nr Wakefield the last 13 years but is moving to Leeds this year. The Wellington is probably going to be the venue and currently has a weekly event on a Thursday leading up to the start of the main event in March. If Leeds isn't too far for you why not pop in one Thursday for some practice and meet the organisers.

I read in todays Daily Mail that 10cc were touring next year with the original line-up. Went on to enquire about tickets, no mention of original members, only the Graham Goldman led line-up! Does anyone have any information?
