Can you please help!
I have a one year old leonberger dog, who is not eating much. It has been going on for about a week now. She does not act ill, and is still very playful.
I would really appreciate your help.
Many thanks.

What did the vet say?
try varying her food. If she is on the dry whole food mix half a tin of ceaser morning and evening for different tastes. If that does not work I would see vet then
have you contacted the breeder/vet?
Hi, at a year old she may be heading for a growth spurt. I have Great Danes and when they have one they tend not to eat much in the weeks before it....then eat for England!
If she is drinking well and lively enough I'd leave her to it, if you start to entice her to eat you may end up with a real fusspot on your hands, that said I feed a complete food but sometimes spice it up with half a tin of soup or oily fish [great for their coats too].
Have a word with your breeder if you're worried though.

I just thought I would let you all kind people know, that with your help, the problem is now sorted!
I followed all your advice, and she is now eating well.
There is nothing medically wrong with her, she is just a fussy eater!
MANY THANKS! YOU ARE ALL SO BRILLIANT!
