Am I meant to click on "best answer" if the suggestion is right ?
I have done that but it still appears ,but I presume it goes through to whoever posted it ??

If you go to your profile rulizzy (top left) you'll see a list of your questions. If you click on the one you want to thank someone on, you can simply type "thank you xxxxxx, for your reply" or similar. I've posted a link to this post on the post that your referring to, so Geo should get your apology.

by the way clicking "mark as best answer" doesn't work, it used to, but the powers that be fiddled with it too much and broke it! Hehe.

I thought the 'mark as best answer' facility does work- Ed produced some stats recently on who had the most 'best answers'
