While sitting at your desk, lift you right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles. Now, while doing this, draw the number 6 in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction and there’s nothing you can do about it. Ah well, Happy New.Year.

quinie - there are lost of oddities online if you look for them. This is a good one. Can you see that each illustration is actually two words?

I can only count to 5.
Thank you for that,sir.prize. I've seen a few optical illusions. Have you heard of the "electric brae" in Ayrshire Scotland? If you stop your car on this brae(hill),turn off the ignition your car appears to roll UP the hill. If you google "electric brae" in Ayrshire you can read about it and get the explanation.
Theres a similar road in Italy Quinie. I have been there and it is weird. You think the car is rolling uphill, but it is an optical illusion.
That was on the TV over Christmas, one of the science lectures on BBC4 - cleverly done! (the foot thing, not the Scottish hillside!)
absolutely right sir.p - how extraordinary
