Other than a complete reset can anyone tell me please how you can erase tracks or folders from iPods when they are full so as to give space for new additions? I'm not sure whether this should be here or in Technology so I've put it in both for now.
No Mark, I am using iTunes but when my iPod said there was not enough space for any more tracks, I deleted more than enough to accommodate them (on the iPod itself) it still came up that there was not enough space.
Do you have another iPod, like a Touch or similar?
It's possible that when you connect your latest device the iTunes brower is attempting to sync all other media (photos, podcasts, tv programmes/films etc).
Other than that, as you have only a 4gb iPod you will have to get used to constantly updating and changing your library.
Yes Phil, I have an iPod and an iPad both of which I have music on as well as the iPod Nano, the maximum number of devices allowed by Apple, so you might well have a point there.
