My daughter has just been in contact with me, she is on holiday in Florida and is in a hotel where the WiFi is free, and has just received a bill from orange for £200 for using the internet. Does anyone know how this can be correctm she has only sent a few email messages.

I'm not a great expert on this but as I understand it you may connect to the Internet via your supplier, or you may connect via someone's wireless modem. The latter if available, it ought not attract charges. Your daughter ought to check how she is connecting.
£200 sounds a heck of a lot, but has she been surfing too ? And it is international rates.
