Hello everyone
This is my first question on this forum.
Can anyone recommend the best scented candles for using at home? I can't afford Jo Malone or Diptyque, but I would very like candles that give off a really lovely smell and do not smoke too much. Someone told me that soya candles are the best.
I love citrus smells. As I live quite a way from the nearest shops can I buy them online?
Thank you.

Yankee Candle company have a huge range
I agree with annadomino, Yankee are lovely, especially Island Spa.
yankee candles are really good. they last ages in the big jars and the smell is great.
If you like citrus smells, what about an oil burner, I use satsuma from Body Shop, they also do one with lemon and green tea I think it is.
Hiya ilovebrie (do you?) Welcome to AnswerBank :-)

You can buy Yankee Candles from Ebay relatively cheaply.

4 posts, and no-one suggested fork ..... oops
are yankee candles only available on line ?
You can get yankee candles at dobbies garden centres .
Yankee candles are everywhere
Country lemonade yankee
Sparkling lemon yankee
Vanilla lime yankee

You have same smell taste as meee!
Also clean cotton is amazing!!

I treatd myself to a burner at 10pounds and you can buy little wax yankee tarts works out alot cheaper as the jars are expensive ...but very worth it i say xx
yankee candles have synthetic fragrances though which can be overpowering

I'd go with the oil burner idea but find one with a deep bowl that can take a lot of water to float the oil or buy one of the electric 'stones' that warm the oil
Partylite are also good but expensive... X
plenty of places sell yankees now, anne. Even clinton cards do them i think
I agree with Tink about the Yankee Wax Melts. The great thing about those is that you can customise the scent by crumbling two or more different melts into the burner :-)
Yes I agree with everyone.Yankee candles are fab. My favourite is lavender and lemon and babypowder too.
