And what counts as a suburb?

A pretty unanswerable question without more background as to what you are being asked.

But Gorkij isn't a suburb - it's 'just' a park named after a writer

and in russian it's 8 letters anyway

"Gor'kiy" is just seven letters in Russian. The Park is actually called "Park ... (imeni) Gor'kogo" in Russian.

Jeff, you need to be more specific - do you mean Suburbs of Moscow which have six letters?
