Babysitting rates

My daughter is doing her first babysitting job in a few weeks for a friend of mine.
It'll be from 7 til midnight. What can she expect to earn and who sets the rate...my daughter or my friend?

I forgot to say what rate I would recommend apologies! I would say it depends on where you based e.g. London is obviously more than some other areas but I would say about £6 per hour outside London and up to £8 per hour in London especially if the babysitter is very experienced and has first aid training etc. Also, I believe that after 11pm, the rate is meant to go up and the parents should pay for a taxi to take the babysitter home.
