Please help to get rid of Jamster texts

I tried to get a Christmas ringtone on my new phone, not being aware of Jamster, I looked at one on their site but didn't purchase. I'm sure I didn't sign up for an account, they now text me at least 3 times nearly every day............... someone I told was horrified and said I'd been sucked into a scam which was costing me pounds. I'm really scared now - there is no facility on these texts to let them know I dont want any more - there is a premium rate number to ring but I daren't ring it. Please help as I'm a nervous wreck.

Information here they have a terrible reputation , you have to scroll down about 1/3rd of the way. But you text STOP or STOP ALL to the 5 figure no they are coming from which should start with 8.

It's important to stop this - they CAN take money from you by charging you for each incoming 'premium rate' text - it will get deducted from your phone credit.
It's an absolute vile scam - the mobile phone companies should be ashamed of themselves for permitting it - but of course they take a cut too, so have no interest in stopping it.
Texting 'STOP' back should work - but you could also ring Orange and ask them to block all 'incoming short code premium texts' - they may try to say it's not possible - this is a lie - threaten them with Ofcom if they refuse.

Thanks for all you answers - I have texted STOP to 88888 and it appears they have "unsubscribed" me (very noble of them when I never subscribed in the first place!) I rang Orange and they have been excellent, they said they are powerless to stop it, they said they agreed this company should be investigated and checked to see what they have taken from my monthly account - £9.58!!!! Isn't that disgraceful, but Orange were really sympathetic and as a gesture of goodwill gave me compensation of £10 as I am a new customer. Wow I was impressed by their service so I will tell everyone not to even look on Jamsters website, that is all I did!
