No dialing tone

My house phones are fully charged but I can't ring out on them or receive any calls. My internet is working fine though. Does this mean there is a problem with my actual phones or could it be an exchange problem. If it is an external fault do I phone BT or my phone provider? Thanks.

(with the cordless phones you can also try paging the phone from the base unit to check they are paired ok)
Impossible to say if it's a problems with your phones or the exchange from the information you've given, but it's the phone provider you have a contract with, not BT, so you'd phone your provider.

Hi,
Due to the recent high winds it may be a fault outside of your property. You can either do an online line test with bt here
https://www.bt.com/co...s_cid=con_FURL_faults
or goto a phone box or ask a neighbour to dial 150 (free call) and do an automated line test will also give advice how to do further tests before calling an engineer.
